Section 1:
This area is in the South-west corner of the Churchyard, bordered by The Beck and Chapel Street to the South and an access path leading to the Church Porch to the East. Large trees overhang many of the Graves.
In this Section there are 18 Grave Markers remaining, the locations of which are shown on the Sketch Plan below.
A list of the person(s) interred in these graves follows the Plan. (N.B. Some Graves contain more than one burial). Burials in this Section date from 1858 to 1882, the year before the Churchyard was closed.
Grave 9 has a headstone including the name of Ann Brewin, wife of Thomas, who died in 1878. She is not buried here, however, but was interred in Grave A. 127, Ruskington Cemetery, on 11 March 1893.
